Meet the WDTN Anchors at Clear the Shelters

Join us for 2025 Clear the Shelters on Saturday, August 23rd as we team up with our community to help every animal find a loving home!

We’re offering 50% off ALL adoptions at our main shelter to make it easier than ever to add a new furry family member to your life. Our shelter will be open from 12pm–4pm.

✨ Special Guests On-site!
We will have the dynamic duo of WDTN Morning Anchor Lauren Wood and Weekend Anchor Kayla Farris at the shelter from 12–2pm to greet visitors, take photos with adopters, and hand out goodies for your pets! Don’t miss your chance to meet them!

Plus, the 50% off adoption fees continue now through the end of August, so even if you can’t adopt on Saturday, there’s still time to make a difference all month long!
