Saturday, June 14th, 2025 at 2:00pm at Fairmount (3000 N Fairmount Street)

Pet Adoption Educational Program from 2-3pm, followed by open house featuring adoptable pets from 3-4pm

The Humane Society of Scott County will hold an educational event for the public regarding adoption and fostering. They will present an in-depth conversation about what it takes to be a responsible pet owner, requirements for adoption, as well as a look at what their foster program entails. Following the educational portion, attendees will be invited to ask questions and have an opportunity to meet with some adoptable pets!

All ages welcome (minors must be accompanied by an adult). Whether you’ve had pets before or are new to the idea of pet ownership, this program is for you!
