At Camp Hope, kids who have experienced cancer in their family or have lost a loved one can rediscover the magic of being kids. These children often face challenges beyond their years, but for one week during the summer Camp Hope offers them a chance to be kids again.
Camp Hope is entirely free for these kids, thanks to MercyOne Genesis Davenport Cancer Centerβs generous support through the MercyOne Genesis Foundation. Kids going into 4thβ9th grade are invited to spend a week at Camp Hope.

π¨ Activities: Outdoor fun, arts & crafts, team games, and so much more!
Beyond the fun, Camp Hope offers group activities with staff from Cancer Support Community at Gildaβs Club, where kids can talk about their experiences and feelings in a safe space. There is also a day trip to the MercyOne Genesis Davenport Cancer Center for a hands-on tour, meeting doctors and staff, and learning about cancer diagnosis and treatment. Kids can ask questions in a safe environment to ease their concerns regarding the cancer journey.π¬π
