At September's Death Education and Discussion gathering, we’ll take time to reflect on grief—what it is, how it shows up in our bodies and lives, and the many ways people respond to it.
Together we’ll explore:
✨ Different types of grief
✨ Physical and emotional experiences of grief
✨ The impact of grief on identity
✨ Healthy and unhelpful ways of responding
While Meghan brings her skills and qualifications in counselling, please note this gathering is not a counselling or therapy session, but rather a shared space for reflection, learning, and conversation.
You are encouraged to bring a journal. Anneke will also bring a box of art supplies so if you journal through art or visual means there will be materials available to you. Reflection prompts will be provided, and a resource list for further reading will be available.
As always, we’ll make time for tea, sharing thoughts, and connecting with one another.
