We've worked with artist / illustrator Lucie Cooke to create a beautifully illustrated summer Heritage Trail for children in Darwen Town Centre 🤩🗺
Whether you're a historian in the making or haven’t thought too much about it in the past, the #shopdarwen summer heritage trail is for everyone!
Can you find the 15 different #shopdarwen businesses and the unique, hand illustrated Darwen icon displayed at each one? 👀
There's a few clues to help you along the way, and to give you some inspiration for local summer holiday activities! 🤸♀️
Collect your free trail worksheet from Sweet Vintage or Darwen Market Hall 📝 Once you've finished, head back to Sweet Vintage for a small prize! 🍭
(You may have to do the trail over a couple of days due to the opening times of each participating retailer 😊)
The trail will run for the whole of the summer holidays until Saturday 6th September, we’d love to see your photos and videos of taking part – use the #shopdarwen hashtag when posting on social media! 🤳
