About the event

An Evening Bat Walk

Do you know your Pipistrelle from your Daubenton’s, if not then why not join us on this informative Bat Walk. We will start a short 2.5 mile walk from Whitehall Park Gates and onto the Moors before returning to the park to search out any bats flying through the Park and adjacent cemetery.
Meet at Whitehall Park Gates Darwen BB3 2LN

The bats will be hunting for food after sunset and we will have detectors availabe to help identify them. Please be aware it will get cool, so wear something warm, and the flying insects may be biting so put on a repellent.
Also please bring along a head torch.
