Sip 'n' (Collage) Summat

Come and be part of a creative community in the heart of Haslingden and Helmshore with Lian Mico; a qualitative researcher by day, and a creative by night, Lian brings an array of talent, experience and energy to help you create your own creative masterpiece.

We’ll start the session by talking about the history of collage, relevant artists and how to get started and inspired to create your own work before diving into the fun bit where you’ll be hands on to create your own unique piece(s) of art to take home with you.

All artist materials are provided (books, magazines, scissors, glue etc.) but you’re also welcome to bring any additional material you may want to work from (and are happy to cut into!).

This is not a food/drink venue though soft drinks/mocktails will be provided – you can bring as many drinks and snacks with you as you like and are welcome to turn our mocktails into cocktails with your own supplies. Just make sure you have a safe way to get home should you choose to drink – we can help you navigate local taxi and public transport options, just ask!

Please note that by attending, you’re opting in for photos that may be shared on our social media channels/in marketing materials. If you’d rather not be photographed, just let Lian know on the day.

You will find Casa Mico on the corner of the intersection of Grane Road and Hutch Bank Road. There is on-road park along both roads, though there is normally better availability along Hutch Bank Road - please be respectfulof our neighbours when parking, and when entering and exiting the event.
