Live Music at The Sail Loft with ROWAN STUART

Rowan Stuart will make his Dartmouth debut at The Sail Loft on Friday the 25th July with a solo performance. This singer-songwriter-guitarist is originally from South Africa, but relocated to the UK in 2024. Now based in Paignton, he has been steadily building a British following with his signature style of 'story-driven dream folk pop'.

From session guitarist roots, to stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist, Rowan went on to complete many South African tours, supporting many of the country's most successful pop and rock music acts, while releasing 7 original albums. Rowan released 3 singles in 2024 - 'Black Hole', 'Find A Way' and 'Fable Of Us' - each of which was featured on 'BBC Radio Introducing'.

Rowan's live performances play out like a musical journey, transporting his listeners through a cinematic soundscape of genres, philosophies and glimpses into other worlds. If you can imagine Sting writing lyrics for Ed Sheeran, with John Mayer on guitar, you might be close to visualising the sound of this musically adventurous artist.
