Whether you are new to quilting or desire to refresh your knowledge, this class is for you. We will start with basic units such as multiple methods to make half-square triangles, flying geese, square in a square, and snowballs then learn those unusual units such as quarter squares, split squares, half rectangles, triangle in a square, kites, and more.
Won't you join us for a fun class with fellow quilting enthusiasts? We will guide you through basic quilt block unit construction including multiple methods to create each unit. Practice the methods while creating reference samples.
Each participant has use of a worktable, iron and ironing board, cutting table with mat, and specialty rulers. Required supplies: sewing machine, thread, scissors, seam ripper (just in case), rotary cutter, aprx. 6 x 12 cutting ruler or similar.
It is helpful to have an 8-1/2 square ruler, but not necessary as we have such available.
Required Fabric: min. 4 Fat Quarters
or 2 pcs 1/2 yard or 4 pcs 1/4 yard
