Hey Everyone!
This time round, we're returning to one of our fan-favourite fields, Sniper's Den!
Please note that we have had to modify some rules at the request of Sniper's Den. The reflected rules are in the player handbook. Particularly no replica/imitation firearms as well as blasters with realistic silhouettes must have high percentages of bright/fluorescent colours. More detail is in the handbook.
Event Details:
- This event is at the Sniper's Den venue in Heatherton, NOT in Skye
- Entry is $20 per person
- Age limit is 16+ with parental supervision for minors
- Meet and greet at 9:45am
- Games will start at 10:20am
- Lunch break is around 12:30pm, there is a Maccas nearby
- FPS Cap is 200FPS
- No replica/imitation firearms
- Upon arriving and leaving the venue, ensure all blasters and gear are concealed
Blasters hitting between 150-200 FPS will have a minimum engagement distance (MED), which will be the minimum distance that you can fire at other players.
<150 FPS = No MED
150-200 FPS = 10m MED
Tagging other players within your MED will tag yourself out instead. Repeated occurrences will require you to play with a lower FPS blaster. These MEDs will be enforced.
In case you haven't been to this field before, Sniper's Den is a paintball field located in South-East Melbourne, which has an urban style to their fields. In particular, we will be playing at the back field which has an open field with intermittent barriers to take cover in, as well as towers and walls to recon and snipe. Additionally, there is also the town area, where there are a labyrinth of buildings and corridors, well-suited to CQB and fast gameplay.
