Food Educator and Certified Cheese Professional Kyra James, is an innovator in the food industry with 13+ years of experience in the world of artisan cheese/specialty goods. Based out of Danbury, CT Kyra is an active food community member serving in nonprofit leadership roles for the Cheese Culture Coalition + American Cheese Society and volunteering at the MoFaD. Kyra’s passion for sharing the understanding of our food systems and drive to build food equity led to the launch of Own Your Funk - a business consulting & edutainment brand working to empower more diverse specialty food consumers.
