Keith Matassa is a marine mammal expert with over 40 years of experience in rescue, rehabilitation, necropsy, and conservation research. He is the Founder and CEO of Ocean Animal Response and Research Alliance (OARRA), a Southern California nonprofit dedicated to marine mammal mortality response, live animal surveys, and public education. Through data collection and research OARRA aspires to find links between the cause of death of marine mammals and sea turtles and the ever-changing hazards presented to them. Join us as Keith shares with us his interesting work and what it reveals to us about our modern world and the impact on our local marine life.
