Join us at Westlake Shopping Center for an exciting new event - The End of Summer Art & Music Festival on Saturday, August 2nd from 12-4 PM. Witness art in the making with Chalk Artists creating murals on the street, an art illustrator drawing quick portraits, easel artist painting live, Kids Chalk Zone, unique art demonstrations, and ball and clay pottery. While enjoying the art displays stop by the lemonade stand for a refreshing cup of lemonade, while supplies last.
Kids will be ready for back to school with a personalized pencil case with each child’s name (in English or Mandarin) including a flourish design, while supplies last. Plus there will be an artist on hand to teach children how to use a non-toxic modeling compound so they can make their very own pottery creation, while supplies last.
And live music! A Bay Area Filipino band will headline the festival playing upbeat, fun, dance music! Plus there will be traditional Chinese Guzheng music performed and a Mariachi band will perform traditional Mexican music.
