Enjoy a morning lake-side by cleaning up litter with us at White Rock Lake in Dallas, Texas!
The Ohnivý Vták the Firebird 2025 BRC honoraria art crew is organizing this special community service event co-collaborated with North Texas Burners Without Borders for local burners and non-burners alike to come together to help keep our neighborhood lake beautiful and trash-free.
The For the Love of the Lake office will provide our group trash grabbers, bags, and surgical gloves -- all you need to do is come as you are at our meet up location with work gloves (if you want stronger protection) and closed-toe shoes. We'll be assigned a section of the lake to clean, and we'll update where that specific location is to meet at closer to the event date.
Schedule:
8:30 am: check in at our assigned section
9:00 am: start cleaning!
11:30 am: wrap up
Afterwards, for those of us who would like some additional community time and connection, we'll go to lunch together nearby. The group will decide day-of where we want to eat! Our art crew will also answer any questions you may have about our art installation headed to playa this August.
