Penn Pals Beer Release & Celebration of Life Benefit

On Thursday, May 29, we invite you to join us at Goodfriend Beer Garden & Burger House starting at 7pm for an East Dallas Celebration of Life Benefit in honor of the late, great Chris Penn. We’ll be releasing Penn Pals, our new crisp and hoppy West Coast Pilsner, with proceeds benefiting his family in their time of loss.

Chris’ influence was felt far and wide, so we wanted to take a moment to celebrate what he meant to so many of us. Our idea is to have a sort of open mic, “storytelling” session, where various musicians, singers, storytellers, and friends come up and share a moment with the crowd. All are welcome to contribute to the celebration. Our hope is that we fill the room with an abundance of love and support for the family, along with music, stories, and our favorite memories of CP.

⚡️DJ sets from Skinny Loggins and Michael McDonalds
⚡️LAZY/DC performs at 10pm
⚡️Eternal Sunshine Photobus will be on site with their unique and supercool Volkswagen pop up photo booth, with proceeds being donated to the family as well.
