"Feeling Lucky?" Lucky Cat Mixed Media Mosaic Workshop

Create a Mineki-Neko, or “Lucky Cat” mosaic on the cutest 10" laser-cut substrate! Led by mosaic artist Donna Van Hooser, you'll learn cutting techniques, design considerations, and material selection and placement. Let your imagination run wild—craft an abstract design, a bold pattern, or a detailed feline face! Various cat face templates will be available, along with a wide selection of materials, including but not limited to thin Bullseye and Wasser glass, beads, rhinestones, buttons, ceramic Tiny Tiles, and fused glass dots. A grouting demo is included, and while most projects will be completed in three days, more intricate designs may take longer.
