Developer | Lender Fair

We’re inviting all lenders and developers to the inaugural City of Dallas Developer | Lender Fair on Thursday, June 26th from 4-6pm at Bill J. Priest Center (1402 Corinth St. Dallas, TX 75215). This event is hosted by the City of Dallas, in collaboration with TREC Community Investors, Builders of Hope CDC, Innovan Neighborhoods, and Matthews Southwest.

This is a great opportunity for developers and lenders to connect with one another. The event will include the following:

• City of Dallas Panel: The event will open with a City of Dallas panel discussion to provide attendees with pertinent information regarding the various elements of the City’s development process such as permitting, policy, incentives, resources and Fair Housing’s role in the City’s incentive process. The panel will feature Heather Lepeska, Assistant Director of the Office of Economic Development, Emily Liu, Director of the Planning and Development department and Kory Levingston, Fair Housing Administrator of the Office of Equity and Inclusion Fair Housing division.

• Speed connect session: The event will include a 1-hour speed connect session where community-based developers will have a chance to pitch their deal to a lender one-on one. Registered lenders will have the opportunity to hear registered developers pitch their deal, provide feedback, and share their portfolio of lending products. Developers desiring to participate in the speed connect session must come prepared with a capital stack memo. Afterwards, join us from 7-8pm for a Networking Reception at Canvas Hotel Rooftop Lounge (1325 Botham Jean Blvd Dallas, TX 75215).
