The Windows Stay Quiet OPENING RECEPTION - Celebrating the work of printmaker J. Daniel Graham
The Windows Stay Quiet Exhibition, celebrating the work of Kentucky printmaker J. Daniel Graham at Boyd’s Station Gallery, opens with a reception this weekend on Saturday, August 2, from 6-9pm.

Boyd's Station Gallery, 203 E Pike Street, Cynthiana, KY - Exhibition Dates: August 2 - 31, 2025

"The Windows Stay Quiet" is an exhibition of works connected to artist J. Daniel Graham's flat work in printmaking and woodworking. The works have been curated for Boyd's Station Gallery to share Graham’s unique form of storytelling as captured in diverse surfaces and images.

The studio practice of J. Daniel Graham encompasses a range of traditional processes in printmaking and woodworking, as well as contemporary works in sculpture and instrument making.

About the Artist - J. Daniel Graham

J. Daniel Graham was raised in a military family and moved every two years for most of his life. He comes from a family of storytellers who love investigation and creativity. Introduced and encouraged into creative outlets at an early age, Daniel has never forgotten the lessons of craft from his mother (a basket maker and calligrapher) and lessons of engineering and risk from his father.

His training in the Arts comes from an Undergraduate Degree at the University of Florida in Printmaking and a Master's Degree from the University of Georgia with the same emphasis. Between the two programs of formal education, Daniel lived in Washington, DC, and trained as a furniture maker under woodworker Dennis Sitka.

Currently, Daniel is a Professor of Art at Georgetown College in Georgetown, Kentucky, where he teaches a variety of courses including Sculpture, Printmaking, 3D Design, Ceramics, and Luthiery.

He lives in Georgetown with his wife Holly, his daughter Olive, his son Thatcher, and their dog Cricket.
