Burning River Endurance Run & Relay - Course Marking - Towpath Flagging

Friday PM - Towpath Flagging: If you want to mark towpath portions from Smith Road to Bath Road and/or Bolanz up to Valley Picnic service road (toward Lock 29) - please reach out to me and we can arrange to get you flags. You can use a bike or scooter if you'd like!

At the beginning of the session we will review how to course mark. We will try to pair someone new to marking with someone who knows what they are doing - and knows the trails/course. A lot of the time when marking we are hiking, so if you are not running or worried that we’ll be too fast for you, you have nothing to worry about. If we have a large turnout, we will split into small groups and cover as much of the course as we can.

Please bring a light backpack to carry supplies, a hammer, long phillips screwdriver, and a staple gun if you have one. You will also want bug spray, sunscreen, water/sports drink to hydrate, and comfortable hiking/running shoes.
