Hollywood Rivieras 9pm -
Sons Of The Engineers 10pm -
Neverland Ranch Davidians 11pm-
Great bill and you should come...here’s why: Wanna see some great musicians that were playing at the wolrd famous Madame Wong’s West and East in the late 1970s and 1980s?…
These bands are loaded with ‘em, and they all rock!
Sons Of The Engineers do a Swing/Rockabilly, R&B thing that has that smoky sort of swing/blues/jazz sound you like to dance to.
Bobby Ricketts is still sidelined due to rotator cuff surgery, so the evening will be featuring the vocals of Engineer Arlo Zoos and a couple by some other guy, in the outfit, backed by some OG Punk and Rockabilly guys from known bands too....
The Hollywood Rivieras feature some killer covers of obscure and very tasty pop selections ...authentic tones, great vocals..a must see w/great musicianship from world class rockers.
What do we say about Neverland Ranch Davidians?…except that they rock! Fronted by Tex Mosely, they, I’m assuming, will be playing selections from their new album, “Shout It On The Mountain”~Heavy Medication Records, just released this past March 2025.
Here’s an excerpt from an article/interview w/ Tex about their new release:
"The album offers an intense fusion of punk, rhythm & blues, and rock. The trio—Tex Mosley (vocals, guitar), Will Bentley (guitar, backing vocals), and Max Hagen (drums, backing vocals)—is joined by Greg “Smog” Boaz (bass). While the band’s live performances traditionally exclude bass, Boaz’s contributions enrich the album’s sound. Mosley, a veteran of several influential punk bands, brings his eclectic influences, from Stax soul to cowpunk, into the mix. Shout It on the Mountain features original songs alongside covers like Eddie Floyd’s ‘Big Bird’ and Skip James’ ‘Hard Time Killin’ Floor Blues.’ “
