The evening will include readings from great women writers: Ellen Phethean, Frances Brady and Clare Wigzell, together with Cullercoats' own women's harmony singers, the Lovely Nellys.
You are invited to celebrate light in the dark, to be moved and inspired by women's words and voices. As one of the Lovely Nellys' favourite songs goes, "We believe that one fine day, the power of love will rise above the love of power".
You are welcome to bring your own drinks but we will be offering various summery refreshments, and cake.
