A Look Back at the Whitefish Chain’s Historic Mailboat

Spend an evening admiring the beautifully restored 1949, 22-foot Chris-Craft Sportsman and hear the fascinating story of how it came to call the Log Village home. Relax as its two current owners share the journey — from its early days piloted by Ben the mailman, delivering letters, packages, and passengers across the docks of the Whitefish Chain, to its disappearance, rediscovery, and meticulous restoration decades later.
