Calm Waters 4th Annual Poker Run

Calm Waters is a dedicated local organization committed to helping Veterans find hope and live independent, fulfilled and meaningful lives. We humbly request your participation in our Poker Run to help us continue providing vital services to the Veterans in our communities.
We are actively working to reduce Veteran homelessness and suicide rates.
Your support will help us finalize the process of securing land needed for the construction of our Veterans Retreat Center. Veterans will have a safe and serene place to heal, receive therapy, animal assisted therapy, horticultural therapy, and use of an onsite workshop. A chow hall will be constructed for group meals, events, to rekindle the comradery and supportive family atmosphere Veterans leave behind when they discharge.
Without men and women willing to volunteer their lives for our great country, no other pursuits in life are possible. Please join us.

Registration begins at 10 A.M. on June 28, 2025. We begin and end at PILOT MIKE'S. Stops are MY PLACE, Montrose/BUFFALO TRADING POST, Colton/ BROADWATER BAR, Lake Madison/CRITTERS BAR & ROSKENS DAKOTA PIZZA, Crooks. Prior to KSU at 11:30 A.M., the Anthem will be sung by Tamela Jean Music, and the Colors presented.
Hands are $20. Extra hands are $10.
We will draw 3 best poker hands at Pilot Mike's, have a great auction, drawings, and outstanding giveaways. Tamela Jean Music will entertain us and Rick Johnson Smoked Meats will be there serving the best BBQ ever. Bring cash as Rick doesn't do credit cards. We will update this information in the coming weeks.
