Neighbourhood Workshops: Willow Deer

Join a wonderful group of makers to make a stunning 4-foot high deer sculpture from willow grown locally in the Somerset Levels under the expert guidance of artist Jo Sadler.

All materials are included and Jo will help guide you every step of the way as you weave and build this amazing animal. By the end of the day you'll have a characterful willow sculpture for your home or garden!

Nestled in the Somerset countryside with a meandering river, tranquil lake and 14-acres of glorious gardens, our home for the course is the truly stunning Haselbury Mill. Steeped in history with a timeless charm, throughout your stay you’ll enjoy delicious food, beautiful accommodation and the very warmest of welcomes.

All bookings include a delicious 2-course lunch freshly prepared in the kitchen, plus tea, coffee and indulgent cake at break times... just what you need to keep topped up!

WHAT TO BRING
Jo recommends you bring a sturdy pair of gardening gloves, some secateurs and an apron if you have them. Plus, it might be a good idea to bring a note pad and pen if you want to take notes, but most importantly bring plenty of enthusiasm!
