Poetry in Motion

If you’re interested in poetry of any kind and from any era, this is the club for you!

The first half of the meeting will be a brief, informal class highlighting the history of poetry along with some of its major types and techniques. The second half will be in the style of a book club, with poems that we will discuss and interpret together as a group.

This month's topic is New Jersey poets. Please bring a published poem written by a New Jersey poet. We're not going to be strict about who qualifies as a New Jersey poet, so it could be someone born in Jersey or just someone who lived here at some point. Bonus points if the poem is about something Jersey-specific!
