New Jersey Independent Film Festival Opening Night Benefit for The Cranford Theater at UCNJ

Welcome to the 2025 New Jersey Independent Film Festival!
We’re back — and stronger than ever.

After losing our original venue at The Cranford Theater due to a ceiling collapse, we’ve reimagined this year’s festival across two incredible venues — with a lineup that’s more exciting than ever.

Join us June 4–7, 2025 for four days of powerful storytelling, live screenings, filmmaker Q&As, and community celebration.

We’re kicking it off with a special Opening Night Benefit on June 4 at UCNJ to support the rebuilding of the Cranford Theater — a space that’s been at the heart of our festival for years. FREE PARKING. $25 gets you a ticket to the preparty benefit with lite bites, mocktails and popcorn as well as a ticket to the movies beginning at 7pm. Q&A talk back after the films with cast and crew of the films!

The NJIFF continues June 5-7 at The Clairidge in Montclair with incredible films!
