Painted Papers: Bloomsbury Group Art Workshop
Saturday 2 August | £35
11am - 1:30pm & 2:30pm - 5pm
Create a work of art using the traditional techniques of the Bloomsbury Group which you can take home with you.
Artist and illustrator Sarah Tanat-Jones, whose illustrations are displayed in our current exhibition 'Between the Covers', will guide you through using sponge painting, prints from natural materials, stencils and mark making to bring your creation to life.
This workshop emphasises the creative process, guiding you through the experimental and colourful ways to create a work of art as you go.
This workshop takes place in the Elizabethan Tower, right above Vita Sackville-West’s famous Writing Room.
There are two separate bookable sessions.
Session 1 will take place between 11:00- 13:30.
Session 2 will take place between 14:30 - 17:00.
