Fire Rescue Victoria - Women in Firefighting Workshops - Sunday 18th May

Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) is holding Women in Firefighting Workshops on

Sunday the 18th May.

*Please note you must be over 18 years of age to attend this event*

These workshops will help you understand more about the role of firefighting. You will get the opportunity to ask questions and speak with women firefighters, as well as get a taste of the physical requirements needed in the job. This will include trying on turnout gear and handling some of the day-to-day firefighting equipment.

We are only able to support a specific number of women on the day at the FRV Academy. It will be first come best dressed so book your ticket now!

There will be 2 x 3hr workshops (1 x AM and 1 x PM time slot)

• Workshop Group 1 starts 8.00am sharp & finishes at 11.00am
• Workshop Group 2 starts 12.00pm sharp & finishes at 3.00pm

**Doors for each workshop will be open at the scheduled start time to allow participants to check in with staff, finalise any paperwork and exchange name badges before the activities commences. No late arrivals. **
