In this stunning rustic location Vicky will guide you through the magical world of wild plants;
Nettles are often disregarded as nuisance “weeds” when in fact they’re one of the most powerful, healing, and useful plants growing in Ireland. We will demonstrate the importance of these plants for food, medicine and for crafting.
Join us for a relaxed, down-to-earth Whole Nettle Workshop where we’ll be getting stuck in and making the most of every part of this mighty plant — root, stem, leaf and all.

At this is a, hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to:
🌳Forage safely and effectively so there’s always more for the next person and the bees too.
🥙Explore delicious recipes and sample the wonders of this wonder food.
🍵 Brew your own teas and infusions and discover the healing benefits of plants.
🌿Learn about handmade balms and salves that soothe aches, stings and skin issues.
🌾 Explore the old ways of using nettles for fibres clothes and fishing.

Whether you’re into herbal remedies, keen on cooking from the land, or just want to spend a lovely day outdoors learning something different — you’ll feel right at home.
No experience needed. Just bring your curiosity (and maybe some gloves).

• A chance to learn how to process plant fibres into usable product for sewing and weaving.
