Since our very first Women In Business Conference in 2017, the event has grown in stature and popularity. Women travel from across the Midlands and more widely across the UK, to attend our headline event of the year!
Where
Our venue for this year’s conference is the Windmill Village Hotel, Golf Club and Spa, a quality 4* hotel venue on the outskirts of Coventry. Boasting high ceilings, air conditioning and plenty of natural daylight, it’s a fantastic space for our event.
If the weather is good, we will be able to open the bi-fold doors that run the length of the suite, onto the adjoining patio where our guests will be able to enjoy their lunch and refreshment breaks.
The Theme
The theme for this year's event is 'Ambition' and we will be exploring this topic in the widest sense of its meaning through our speakers. The programme brings together a collective of exceptional women speakers, with a wealth of knowledge, understanding and experience, which they will be proud to be sharing.

What To Expect
Our 2025 conference will consist of a number of local inspirational women speakers and a delicious networking lunch. This year there will be some panel discussions and opportunities for the audience to ask questions.
The day will provide inspiration and an opportunity to connect with an eclectic mix of professional women from a wide range of business sectors. There will also be a wealth of learning opportunities, truly reflecting the very essence of what the Socially Shared Business Support Network is all about.
There will be plenty of opportunities for networking and enjoying refreshments, with a welcome drinks reception upon arrival, mid morning and mid afternoon refreshment breaks and and a delicious hot and cold buffet lunch too.
All delegates will receive a quality, bound complimentary conference programme, a guide for the event, packed with information about our speakers, sponsors and other valuable information.
There will be an opportunity to make new connections in the 'Connections Zone', an area that invites interaction and engagement. All delegates will be able to advertise their business for free during the event, by displaying their business card on our 'Building Contacts Wall'.
What to wear? Our conference is a relaxed, sociable and fun event and this is reflected with our dress code too. Feel free to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, whether that is relaxed and casual or something a little more formal.
The Socially Shared Online Bookshop will be showcasing a selection of books by local women authors at the event and you may even be able to purchase a signed copy by the authors that are in attendance too.
