Enjoy this special Mother's Day watercolor workshop taught by artist, Alivia Rubino, and cohosted by Wood & Word Blooms Studio.
In this workshop, you will learn basic watercolor techniques, make simple floral watercolor designs, and then you will be painting a birth flower onto a greeting card.
This is a beginner-friendly class that is perfect for small groups! A simple outline of the August birth flower, a poppy, will be provided, but participants who are more advanced, may choose a blank card without outlines.
Materials will be provided, but if you have your own set of dedicated brushes and watercolor paints, you may bring them. Please label your own supplies if you choose to bring them and make a note at checkout; however, no discount will be provided should you bring your own paints and brushes.

Wood & Word Blooms Studio Address: 21 Bread & Milk Street, Coventry, CT
We are in the same building as CFM Cycles & Golf Lessons. Pull into the parking lot across from Cumberland Farms with the business signs and not the homeowner's driveway next door. It is all the same address so GPS gets confused.
There are 9 parking spaces in the lot, but you also may park on the grass between the side of the road and the parking lot or on the grass along the road between the red building & red house. When coming with a friend, carpooling is appreciated.
