Join us at the Let's Animate studio for a snip-tastic, hands-on filmmaking adventure!
Our Fantastic Filmmakers day is perfect for children who love drawing, cutting, imagining, and storytelling.
Using colourful paper, scissors, and stop-motion animation, young filmmakers will dive into the creative world of cut-out animation – from crafting characters and designing backdrops, to animating scenes, editing footage, and adding sound effects.
We’ll kick things off with a fun theme to get your imagination flowing, then guide you step-by-step as you bring your paper story to life on screen. By the end of the session, you’ll have your very own animated cut-out movie to keep and share with family and friends!

We’ll take a 30-minute break during the day for food and drink, so please remember to bring along a packed lunch.

After the session, every young filmmaker will receive a copy of their finished animation to keep and share with friends and family – the perfect memento of their creative day!

Let’s Animate is based in Lower Earlsdon, Coventry, on a small industrial estate tucked behind Noble W Motors.
