Blues & Beyond starring Lester Quitzau & Friends

Lester Quitzau - The mellow guy with a heavy groove, Lester has been spreading the word of blues based roots music for over thirty years. A fully accomplished solo artist, he was also a charter member of the great Tri-Continental, and subsequently a two time Juno Award winner. Expect some deep guitar licks and soulful songs.

Suzie Ungerleider - The previously known as 'Oh Susanna', Suzie, began her career by reaching backward to a time of musical innocence...old Stella guitars, old styled clothing, old songs. With a heavy dose of old Country Blues and roots music she developed her own songwriting chops to become a fully fledged artist in her own right.

Beyond Blues Trio - (Gerry Barnum, John Ellis, and Mick Sherlock). Vancouver Island’s newest blues-based combo is an audacious experiment in redefining the sound of Blues. This crafty three piece has added pedal Steel guitar, Dobro and two (that’s right...two) harmonicas together to create an exciting mix of instruments to support passionate material.
