We’re excited to announce an inspiring workshop, "Journaling with Vicki", led by Vicki Moon Spiegel, happening Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the Tollhouse Art & Gifts, 408 N. Whitewoman St., Historic Roscoe Village, Coshocton, Ohio. Choose from two sessions: 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM or 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The cost is only $25 for this 2-hour creative journey!
Say "hello" to Vicki Moon Spiegel, an eclectic artist with many talents! A graduate of CCAD, Vicki began her artistic career running the sewing room and designing flags and banners, followed by a 25-year stint as a professional illustrator for the Columbus Zoo. She works regularly in mixed media and exhibits across Ohio, exploring mosaic collages, bead-work, drawings, eclectic dolls, oil paintings, metal work, and sewing. Her work is described as eccentric, unusual, strange, and visionary—truly the markings of a terrific artist!
With her warm and encouraging teaching style, Vicki will guide you in making the most of your sketchbook while learning new drawing and painting techniques in each class.
In this workshop, you’ll discover how a sketchbook can be a reference, a diary, and an experimental journey in visual note-taking. Journey through a few weeks of your life, capturing what interests you with pencil, pens, watercolor, collage, and more. It’s perfect for both beginners and experienced artists, offering new insights about yourself through art. Bring your sketchbook and any favorite drawing or painting tools — Vicki will also provide a variety of tools, materials, and techniques to explore.
