Join a potluck exploring and learning how to eat more Whole Food Plant-Based (WFPB) meals. We are vegetarians, vegans, and omnivores who want to include more whole plant foods in our diet in order to experience vibrant health.
WFPB is centered around whole, unrefined, or minimally refined plant foods. It excludes meat, seafood, dairy products, eggs, and highly refined foods such as bleached flour, sugar, and oil.
It’s good for our health and the planet. Plus, it's unapologetically delicious! 😋
Please bring:
*a dish free of animal products
*an index card listing the ingredients
Those attending for the first time or anyone feeling overwhelmed by preparing a dish are welcome to attend without one. If you need help understanding what to bring, please reach out to Gavin, Joleesa, or Ann by direct message.
No food-shaming, please! We are learning and exploring. Let’s eat, laugh, and learn together. No experience needed – whether you are a long time plant-based eater or have never heard of this before, you are welcome here (including supervised children).
(optional) to bring:
a clean 16 oz or smaller container to swap a couple servings of someone else's dish to take home and/or a sanitized take out container to fill with leftovers at the end for our *Houseless Outreach* idea.
COVID-19 safety measures:
Keep an arm's length from others, unless invited into their space.
Please stay home if you've had recent close exposures to covid, positive test results, or symptoms that could be a cold/flu/covid in the last week.
