✨AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT – Zink: The Myth, The Legend, The Zebra
Imaginative, funny, and heartbreaking, Zink tells the story of Becky, a pre-teen girl diagnosed with leukemia, who meets a herd of talking African zebras. Among them are street-smart Ice Z, grandfatherly Papa Zeke, pompous Zilch, and Shlep—a furry green monkey convinced he’s also a zebra.
The herd shares the legend of Zink, a mythical polka-dotted zebra, an outcast turned hero. As Becky’s condition worsens and she faces cruelty from some classmates, she moves between her real-life struggles and the magical zebra world—leading to a shattering, breathtaking, and uplifting climax.
