Forest Bathing at the Corrales Bosque Preserve

This forest bathing walk will take place along the trails of the Corrales Bosque Preserve, walking to the Rio Grande river north of Albuquerque. Cost is $8 per person, registration required via Forest Bathing Finder, or contact RiverWise Therapy via email/call/text. Forest bathing includes guided mindfulness, slowing down with the more-than-human world, and a bit of playful connection with the self and the group. The total walking distance will be about 1.5 miles. Your guide, Talia, will provide a brief introduction and history of Forest Bathing, and then lead participants in a series of "invitations" to promote relaxation, a mindful state of thoughts and perceptions, and connections with land and beings. A small tea offering and snack is provided at the end of the event. This walk starts promptly at 10am and lasts approximately 2 - 2.5 hours, depending on the weather and group needs/pace. Non-refundable registration fee required. Free street parking available. This site does NOT have restroom or water facilities.
