Our fabulous Dance Tribe is gathering in the cozy Coromandel Citizens' Hall this Tuesday morning.
We gather to move, to dance, to be with whatever is moving in us...sometimes joy, sometimes sadness, sometimes frustration...the ever changing inner landscape of ourselves.
The most nourishing part about this movement practice is letting these emotions move through and transform to ultimately support a sense of inner strength and peace.
The music is especially crafted to help support the transformative power of your dance!
The Dance begins with a lovely time for stretching, the music then builds inspiring more movement...then it lightens and settles...it is likened to a rising, cresting, then settling wave. There are two waves of music within the class...then second one has a longer settling time....a wonderful restful closing.

I have always loved dancing but never had the opportunity, (or perhaps never allowed myself) to just dance. Dancing for its own sake and for no other reason…

Dance is such an easy way to move.. the music always gets me going .. no matter how tired I may feel , before I know it ,I can find myself flying around the room, shaking, rattling or rolling, or in some deep inward journey of inquiry” how do I pause”, “ what would I like to move towards or away from” or some other invitation to explore..�Open floor is a journey of awakening in simple and subtle ways, ready to meet you where you are ready to be met.. as little or as big as you want to go!�It is such a blessing to have our lovely Pippa offering her skills in such a safe space, with gentle guidance, and open heart. Pippa’s Pranadance classes are a great way to integrate body, mind and spirit, to grow healthier in all these areas.
I am able to let my body move spontaneously to wonderful music, without self consciousness, in the company of others doing the same.
The benefits? A sense of community, joy, spiritual uplift and my energy is increased.
I am free to do my own thing, follow my own thread, while being with others. Feeling no constraint or expectations from them, but positive group energy at the same time.
