Join Rose, of the Dreaming Heart Art Studio, on the third Wednesday of each month at the Best Western in Cornwall ON for a creative evening of BEGINNER-FRIENDLY, expressive art-making!
Classes alternate between Paint Night Style classes and Soul Sisters Art Workshops (mixed media art classes for women).
October's class features the Soul Sisters Art Workshop "TAROT CARD COLLAGE"!
With Tarot cards as a creative prompt, and with access to tons of fun and mystical art materials, we'll tune into our divine feminine energy to create cosmic collage art pieces that will help us clarify and manifest our goals... all while having SO MUCH FUN!
Turn inward, get introspective, relax, connect with fellow women, and make art for the pure joy of it!
Materials include a 12" x 16" stretched canvas as a base, Tarot and Goddess-inspired collage imagery, weird and whimsical stickers, gems, beads, feathers, faux flowers, nature materials, pretty papers, markers, paint, metallic pens, pastel, and more!
You are welcome to bring a small selection of meaningful ephemera to adorn your art piece (i.e., a photograph, ticket stub, old letter, small decorative piece, etc.), as well as your favourite Tarot or Oracle deck!
$49 + HST per participant

**PLEASE READ- Soul Sisters art classes are always BEGINNER-FRIENDLY, with a focus on having fun and enjoying the creative process!
You do NOT require previous art experience.
You simply have to be a woman who wants to cultivate more self-love, self-awareness, and fun in her life.
Rose will introduce the project and will provide hand-outs, occasional tips, and lots of sample pieces and images to inspire you... but please note that this is NOT a step-by-step class.
Instruction is very gently-led with a focus on introspective, self-guided art-making.

*Event will take place in the "Red Room."
*Ticket fee is for the Art activity only. Venue purchases like beverages and food are sold seperately and will be available throughout the evening.
*All art materials are included, except for aprons. Please wear art-friendly clothes!
*Instruction is adult-focused. Teens 16+ yrs. are welcome to attend with an adult.
