MONTHLY ART CLASSES for ADULTS in CORNWALL, ON!

Join Rose, of the Dreaming Heart Art Studio, on the third Wednesday of each month at the Best Western in Cornwall ON for a creative evening of BEGINNER-FRIENDLY, expressive art-making! (*Sept's class will be held on the fourth Weds of the month).
Classes alternate between Paint Night Style classes and Soul Sisters Art Workshops (mixed media art classes for women).
September's class features the Soul Sisters Workshop "INNER GODDESS"!
With goddess imagery, quotes, and poetry to inspire us, we'll each paint our own Inner Goddess... that divine feminine energy within us that is rooted in love, compassion, nurturing, feminine creativity, and earthy wisdom.
Rose will provide the basic outline of the female face on a large 16" x 20" stretched canvas and will guide you in drawing the proportions and features of the female face.
Then, we'll turn inward, get a little introspective, relax, listen to music, and connect with fellow women, as we each paint our own one-of-a-kind Inner Goddess using acrylic paint.
We won't worry about creating realistic faces, but instead, will paint from emotion. We'll create primal and instinctive pattern using basic lines and shapes.
We'll choose colours we feel drawn to. And we'll add meaningful symbolism that is personal and empowering.
Inspiration images will be provided, but you are also welcome to bring your own images that you feel drawn to and that you feel will aid you in your creative process.
$49 + HST per participant

*Event will take place in the "Red Room."
*Ticket fee is for the Art activity only. Venue purchases like beverages and food are sold seperately and will be available throughout the evening.
*All art materials are included, except for aprons. Please wear art-friendly clothes!
*Instruction is adult-focused. Teens 16+ yrs. are welcome to attend with an adult.
