First Sunday Hike - Chippewa Moraine Chapter Ice Age Trail

September First Sunday Hike

The First Sunday Hike for September is on Sunday, September 7th on the Harwood Lakes Segment. We will start the hike at 1:00 at the County E trailhead by Camp Nawakwa. The local IATA chapter will shuttle any hikers who attend, to the trail access on Deerfly Trail. The hike back to County E is about 3 miles. We'll point out the upcoming reroute by Kim's Crossing that we hope to build in October. Hikers who attend this hike will have the option to get a shuttle to Plummer Lake Road after our hike so that they can complete the segment.

This hike is a program of the Chippewa Moraine Chapter of the IATA and will end along the southern shore of Picnic Lake at Camp Nawkawa.
