A family and youth group friendly event – hosted by the Chippewa Moraine Chapter of the Ice Age Trail Alliance
-9:45-12:00 Hike the Chippewa River Segment: meet at the Ice Age Trail parking lot on Cty CC
-12:00-2:00 Meet Monty the Mammoth & Trail Fun for kids: Ice Age Trail Bingo & decorate your own walking stick at the Cornell Visitor Center
Sunday – Oct. 12
Nature Program by Beaver Creek Reserve at Camp Nawakwa
Includes a hike around Picnic Lake or a guided Nawakwa trail walk
Stay at Nawakwa – $75/night per cabin or yurt.
Guests share food prep/cooking and indoor gathering in the Chalet Lodge. Fire scars are available for outdoor cooking.
⚠ Note: Lodging is seasonal — please be prepared for a variety of autumn weather in October. Pack layers, warm sleeping gear, and rain protection to ensure a comfortable stay.
