Ballincollig_Windy Gap_Derry Cross 75 km 780 m
The ride is 75 kilometers, with 750m of climbing, starting at Lidl, Ballincollig. There are three efforts. The first is after we pass through Kilumney and make a left turn up towards Begley’s Forge ‘Cyclists Rest,’ We’ll regroup and roll down through Crossbarry, and Brinny. After the Chemical works we start the second up to Whites Cross to regroup again. We’ll drop down pass the infamous ambush site at Béal na Bláth to our Café stop will be at the Centra. After the stop the third climb will be the Windy Gap. We return via Coachford and Derry Cross to Ballincollig.
