Learn & Play: Captains & Companies

A local twist on Learn & Play, featuring a game designed and self-published right in Cedar Rapids! Learn from the designers themselves — creators Charlie and Tom will guide new players through the initial gameplay and strategy of this map-building and area control board game. Imagine a mash-up of Carcassonne and Risk, all in one game! They will also be happy to field your questions about their game design and publication process.

Join us for this local game designer highlight on August 22nd, 6-9PM. Copies of the game will be available for purchase after you’ve enjoyed your first game (exclusively at Diversions!).
