Friday 16. – Sunday 18. May
“We are alive, therefore we will die. This is the simplest, most obvious truth of our existence, yet very few of us have come to terms with this fact.” – Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.
Firstly, we have to recognize this truth. Then, we can transform our life and our death through spiritual practice.
This weekend course offers a special opportunity to learn the practice of Buddha Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion. This practice offers us a powerful method to develop a kind and fearless heart through receiving Avalokiteshvara’s blessings. Through combining this with the meditation on our impermanence, we will deepen our understanding of life’s true purpose and meaning.
Through engaging in the weekend programme of teachings, meditations and retreat, we will learn to:
- Recognize the preciousness of our human life and use it wisely.
- Understand the true purpose of life and develop a pure motivation.
- Strengthen our connection with Avalokiteshvara and increase our compassion.
Everyone is welcome. Whether you are new or an experienced practitioner, this weekend will be a wonderful opportunity to deepen your wisdom and compassion.
