Saturday 28th June 10:00 – 13:30 | In English
We often carry painful stories about ourselves: “I’m not good enough,” “I always mess things up” “I’ll never change.” These thoughts feel familiar—but they are not who we truly are.
In this meditation workshop, Kadampa Teacher Karen will guide us step-by-step into Buddha’s teachings on the self and our vast potential. These limiting identities arise from a mistaken view of ourself, rooted in self-grasping ignorance. We believe we are fixed and flawed, when in truth, we are full of potential.
Through guided meditations and practical teachings, we’ll explore how to let go of painful and limiting ideas about ourself. With the wisdom of Buddha’s teachings and the power of meditation, we can shift our mind from negative to positive and uncover the natural qualities of a peaceful mind – clarity, love, compassion, and inner strength. Through regular practice, these qualities can become our everyday experience.
This workshop is for anyone who wants to step into a new version of themselves – and become their best self.
Everyone is welcome. No previous experience is necessary.
