I have always wanted to bring people together for Christmas in a different way… I am excited to share this with you!
A “pay as you feel” event. Sharing from a place of generosity.
To invite in both an opportunity for people who may be stressed financially and for those who may also be able to give more generously.
A space that welcomes the whole range of what this season stirs in us.
A space for you to come and be in a community environment where you can really be all of who you are.
Whether you are glowing with festive spirit, feeling the weight of the year, or simply craving community... this is a place to share creativity, warmth, and presence with others who are showing up just as they are.

Christmas to me is nostalgic, magical, and full of love… yet also tender, complicated, and a deeply human time of the year.
It is a season where joy and ache often sit side by side. Where memories resurface and connection can feel both distant and close. Where loneliness and togetherness are happening simultaneously.
It can be a time where there is great pressure, expectation, overwhelm, financial burden, fatigue, alongside great generosity, tradition, warmth, love, hope, rest, enjoyment.
It can be a time where people have an abundance of food and love on the table whilst others have nothing and no one.
I want to create and hold a space for it all.

I am inviting in all Christmas themed performances, though it is not limited to this either.
Bring your naughty and nice poetry, remixes of Christmas songs/carols, stories related to this time, MAGIC, comedy and fantasy shares, original music that is relatable and connected to this amazing human experience and whatever else I cannot think of.
You can also bring non-Christmas themed performances, if you have something to share – you are so welcome in this!
Dress for the occasion, I am inviting in a dress up theme if you feel inspired… who knows, maybe we will even have a Santa coming to bless us on this night?

🗓 When: 10th December, 6pm - 930pm
6pm Arrival to ground into the space, get dinner and mingle.
630pm Start.
Front Doors will be closed from 630pm.
📍Where: The Nook - 10/1 Diamond St, Cooroy QLD 4563
🎟 Cost:
Pay as you feel/donation based.
Be honest with your contribution – If you feel you can be generous, I invite this in. If you are in a place of financial stress, I invite this in too.
You are welcome here, no matter what you can pay.

• Suited for solo acts or small groups not requiring a whole lot of space.
• All instruments welcome except a full drum kit.
• Provided: 2x microphones, semi-acoustic guitar, PA, mixer, and percussion toys.

• Cushion/pillow for sitting on the ground (there will be other seating options)
• Water bottle
• Any instruments or props you might like to use - think more stripped back style
• Cash preferred for dinner and drinks

💫 Whether you come to perform or to simply witness, you’re an essential part of this creative field. I invite anyone who has a desire to speak, perform, or be on stage to come and be a part of this. Even if you’re shy/afraid/“not feeling ready” — you’re welcome in this! I imagine us growing together, inspiring each other, and supporting each other.
