Alys Ffion Teen Songwriting Workshop at The Nook

Peace Run Records is proud to present a very special 2 day Teen songwriting workshop with ARIA-nominated songwriter Alys Ffion on Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17 December at The Nook, Cooroy (above the laundromat).

Held from 10am til 3pm (both days), Alys will draw on her decade of expertise as a working musician in both USA and Australia, guiding teens through the full journey from starting and completing an original song and everything that entails. Limited to 12 spots, participants will learn practical tips and creative techniques to unlock their authentic storytelling voice and learn how to put that down on paper. This wonderful opportunity to work with Alys will give participants to grow their writing skills and begin building their own style while being mentored by Alys in an encouraging environment. They'll also connect with other young, like-minded emerging songwriters and will be encouraged to co-write and collaborate along the way hopefully making new friends in the process!

Please bring acoustic instruments, writing pad and pencils to the workshop as well as a water bottle and snacks for lunch. There is a subway downstairs from the venue too as a lunch option.
