South Carolina’s rich traditions are full of natural remedies, from soothing sunburns with aloe to treating illnesses with pine needles. In this workshop, you’ll explore how we find healing and balance through nature and preserving our lived environment. Through guided prompts, you’ll reflect on homegrown cures, share stories of natural healing, and discover how the environment inspires old and new ways of caring for ourselves.

This workshop will take place in person at the Historic Conway Icehouse. We will explore the site, learn about Conway Architectural Salvage and Heritage Project from founder Alan Todd, then write and share our stories.

Info: The first ten minutes of our workshop will be spent introducing our facilitator team and going over the guidelines for the workshop to create a safe space.
