This book talks about 12 important practices that help Christians grow closer to God. These practices are grouped into 3 categories: things you do on your own (inward), things you show in how you live (outward), & things you do with others (corporate).

Meditation – Taking quiet time to think about God & listen to Him.

Prayer – Talking honestly with God about your thoughts & needs.

Fasting – Giving something up (like food) to focus more on God.

Study – Reading & learning from the Bible & other helpful books.
